Graduation Speech: Remembrance Of Flounder The Fish

Decent Essays
We are all gathered here today for the remembrance of Flounder the fish. We remembered him as a friendly fish, he always liked to make people laugh and always had a bright smile on his face. I remember the first time I met him he was the happiest fish i had ever seen. I was having such a bad day. He turned it around and made me forget the bad things that happened to me that day. whenever i see a clown fish it reminds me of flounder because of his beautiful stripes he had. You are probably all wondering why he might be here today. Flounder has passed on because he has Monterrey. The police detected he drowned because there were no scratches nor bites marks specifically from a shark. I will always remember his big cringed nose it might seem rude,

Good morning Alice, Thank you for the update. I was informed that Dana Bailey had a great interview and there is a possibility that he will get a job offer for Toni Washington’s old position at the VA Bay Pines working directly for Shawn. I would not like to lose Dana, however, if that happened that would be a third DVOP opening taken from us. First one was Hunter’s,, Bobby is retiring at the end of this month and Dana’s would be third one.…

After coming a long distance from Richmond, Virginia to Washington D.C, my destination was reached. Just by gazing at the deep-rooted bricks and the old cream-colored columns, I knew this was the right place to be. Strolling into the revived Ford’s Theatre and looking at the waxed mannequins it feels like you are travelling back into the 1860’s. I was already amazed by observing all of the various artifacts and depictions and trying to figure out which attraction would interest me the most to record. Since Ford’s Theatre is a very popular site and has many fascinating facts behind it, The assassination of Abraham Lincoln was the most impressive exhibit to me.…

The fish and its life, which is consistently mentioned throughout the story, is a representation of the family’s unity. The narrator first mentions the fish in a flashback at around the same time that she is reflecting back on her memories of her father and their daily routine. The father is the one who brings in the live fish and dumps it in the sink. This is notable because at this point in the narrative, the family is still seen as a cohesive unit and this parallels with how the fish is still alive. The next point in the narrative where the fish is mentioned is right after certain problems are shown to plague the family, such as the obvious language barrier that separates the parents from their children and the problem of the father and the brother’s conflicting attitudes towards the son’s unwillingness to keep hold of his Malaysian heritage.…

Greetings, Class of 2023. Today, we get to celebrate the culmination of our thirteen years of hard work in school with graduation, and I have been asked to deliver this year’s commencement speech. I would like to thank all of the people that have brought us here: family members, teachers, principals, and people who would go out of their way to encourage us to keep trying hard even in the midst of failure. Without you, we would not be standing on this stage today. I would like to start by defining the word “commencement.”…
