It is hard to imagine that it has been two years since I walked across the stage and earned my high school diploma. That day had so many memorable moments. From having breakfast at my favorite place on earth, IHOP; nearly panicking that my dad may not be in the audience waiting for me to cross the stage; crying tears of joy the moment I saw my dad after my graduation was over, and out of all days, having the world’s worst headache the entire afternoon after graduation. I could go on about my Graduation Day, but that is a topic for another essay. Since graduating, I still keep in touch with my friend, Tosh. Tosh had been just a sophomore when I graduated high school in 2014. Out of all the underclassmen that I was cool with in high school, Tosh was the only one I truly considered a friend. I find myself always breaking my promise of coming to visit her at school while I was out on school breaks, but that soon changed. This past Saturday, her mom invited me to her graduation as a surprise. At first, I thought I would have to work the day of, but luckily I was off. I could not wait to see the look on her face. The moment I got to the graduation, so many people were surprised to see me. I will admit though, a few of them, I could not believe even knew who I was. Tosh nearly screamed her lungs and ruined half her makeup the moment she saw I was at her graduation.
