From the stress of homework, to the excitement of Friday night football, the emotional roller coaster of school is about to start. It is that time of year again, and summer is coming to an end. The weather is going to start to cool off. School supply shopping is in full swing and the supplies have been out for months. Off shopping we go, to see what I am going to need for school. This school year is not like all the others; I am off to college. Instead of shopping for pencils, and notebooks, I am shopping for (an entire) dorm room. College shopping is way more stressful and expensive than shopping for school supplies for high school. My family and I were ready for me to go off to college. Off on my own with people I didn’t know and living with someone I met only once made me think this adventure is going to be scary too. I was so excited yet so nervous. In just a couple days, I was about to be living on my own, in a city that was unfamiliar. Inside I was freaking out, but no one would know that because when people asked, I always answered that I couldn’t wait to leave. To be honest, I really couldn 't wait to leave I didn’t have to listen to my siblings fighting, drive them all around and it was something new. It’s the start to the end of my schooling. It was going to be something different than living in the small city of De Pere for 18 years. Now for the next six years, I was going to Carroll University and living in Waukesha. To me that was so crazy to think about. Six more years of school was not at all what I wanted to do, but I knew that I wanted to become a physical therapist and that is how long I needed to go for. I was ready to meet to friends and move on with my life. This was my time to figure out what I wanted to do and to see what living on my own was like. I was ready to make my life my own and continue creating my future. It was my time now to make my parents
