Important To Me

Many people get different things throughout their life that they can claim as their own. Somethings could have special significance whether it came from someone special or not. Over the years, people tend to cherish the items or end up getting rid of them for certain reasons. Whether it was given to you as a gift or you had to earn it, everything has a special meaning. Over the years, I got many things from many people, but most of it didn’t have meaning to me. The three things that I found to have a significance to me is my soloist flute, track spikes, and lettermen jacket. All these things I asked my parents for in middle school. I got my track spikes in middle school but I got my lettermen jacket and soloist flute my freshmen year of high school. My parents decided to give me these gifts because they wanted to see me succeed and achieve my goals and dreams in high school.
One of the things that I had receive from my parents in middle school was my track spikes. My parents always knew that they raised an energetic and athletic kid. I was always running around, antagonizing my family in friends saying that I could beat them in a race. Then as soon as I was enrolling into eight grade, I had walked past this booth that said “Come join Track and Field.” My parents saw me just starring at it and decided to go talk to the coaches. No matter it is was given to them or they worked to get it. Anything can have a significance no matter how little or how big it is.
