Hi Dr. Beech,

I just want to share with you a major win for me. I have to give YOU credit for being such a wonderful example and having confidence in my ability . On Tuesday, I hosted my first Lunch and Learn for Women of Progress. Beneta Burt was our speaker. I served as the host and organizer for this event. I had a goal of making this group more familiar with Community Based Research and health related initiatives. The question and answer session after her speech, was phenomenal! This activity was completely separate from our office. Women for Progress's mission is to be a catalyst for advocacy, awareness, and action, in Mississippi http://womenforprogress.net/. We really want to support community initiatives that are making an impact

I live in Alpena, Michigan; it’s a pretty small town. There are plenty of things we could do to make it a better community. For example, if our community would engage in more volunteer work, like helping the Alpena Huron Human Society and cleaning up the streets, Alpena’s appearance and reputation would would be affected in a positive way. To give Alpena a more friendly approach to tourist and people living here we could participate in volunteer work. It’s a great thing you could do that doesn’t cost the community a lot of money, if any at all.…

She opened a clinic and she cared about making sure the children are taken care of when not many people did. This speech has changed many people in a way that changed it all. Women are having less unwanted pregnancies, there are less unwanted children and more parents knowing what they are doing. Parents can now send their children to school and work during the day to raise their children better. "I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed - we hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal," were the words once spoken by Martin Luther King Jr. His vision was that one day, “little black boys and little black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers.” These notions are being regarded in our everyday lives. Thank you for your presentation regarding the Triage Consulting Group yesterday at USC. Again, I want to reaffirm my interest in the Associate position at the firm. Throughout my college career I have always wanted to take part in an organization where I am able to balance my knowledge of society, my passion for working with people, and interest in healthcare. It’s been rather surprising that an organization like the Triage Consulting Group to come along, and it’s an amazing opportunity to put my professional and personal skills to great use and further develop my interest in all aspects of healthcare. As I mentioned during the career fair, I have a diverse background in public service, community outreach, management and communications.…

Personally, I found Zoe Lofgren’s discussion to be inspiring as well as insightful toward the government’s practices. Zoe mentioned that she grew up with politics as a part of her life and participated in the March for Democrats with her family annually. Through family discussions on current events, she was able to explore and debate politics with her relatives. This has inspired me to be more open to political conversations with my own family members so that I can learn more about the world as a whole and become more familiar with perspectives of those who face different circumstances than I do in my daily life. Additionally, her belief that we must confront our nation’s issues and openly discuss uncomfortable topics has motivated me to talk…

Greetings, Class of 2023. Today, we get to celebrate the culmination of our thirteen years of hard work in school with graduation, and I have been asked to deliver this year’s commencement speech. I would like to thank all of the people that have brought us here: family members, teachers, principals, and people who would go out of their way to encourage us to keep trying hard even in the midst of failure. Without you, we would not be standing on this stage today. I would like to start by defining the word “commencement.”…
