In my private school there were only like twenty to twenty-five kids in all and we all knew each other so I would get in trouble a lot for talking and was even moved around because that’s all I would do, but we had to learn to be able to go to the next topic, and if we didn’t pass that subject with an eighty percent or higher we had to repay and retake the subject course till we got an eighty percent, we also had to dress in a white long sleeve tee with a tie, blue pants, and dress shoes. Private school was completely opposite to public school you can get a seventy and pass and if you didn’t get the subject you were learning they would go on ahead despite if you got the …show more content…
But I want an even better life where I can have all my needs plus my wants to be taken care of and I want to be able to take care of a family without having to have my wife work. Another great motivation is a person that has literally been there since the beginning of my life, that I thank for everything I have, and the person I am and that person is my mom since I was young she has always told us to make sure to go to school, do all our homework, to never disrespect our teachers even if we think they are wrong and we are right, and to never say I can’t cause I can’t should never be in a person’s vocabulary that’s why I’m trying to get an education that will be able to lead me into the lifestyle I want to pursue and live and also be able to give back to my

I was 10 years old. I looked from the edge of the mat, unaware about the endeavor I was about to take the moment my foot touched that mat. I finally decided to walk on, like they had taught me by bowing, it was the first of a near million times I was going to do this. I was a white belt, at the best taekwondo centers in the area. All the kids, stood to the side eerily silent, waiting for instructions.…

My graduate experience will be light years different then my undergraduate training. I chuckle just contemplating the technological difference alone. Back when I attended undergraduate school there wasn’t the internet, the LoudCloud, e-books, or personal laptop computers. We thought we were “hot stuff” because we progressed from the slide ruler to a state of the art Texas Interment graphing calculator. By the way google informed me that my particular calculator at that time was the first of its kind.…

Semester of Learning Experiences People most always say, “ Learn from you mistakes and achievements.” I would definitely conclude that is exactly what I’ve done this first semester of college. There are many times that I wanted to simply curl into a ball because of all the newness and unfamiliarity. At times I found myself doing just that, but realizing that I needed to toughen up burst from my comfort zone. I can say sleeping through your classes never the best choice, not going just because you find it too easy, missing a class just to write a paper for another class, and differentiating between minimal and highly important status of choices.…

At the moment what I really need to do is as simple as focusing on the here and now; I need to make sure that I continue to put hard work into everything I do. To start with, I need to maintain my grades, I’ve had a 4.0 grade point average since middle school and in order to get into a good college I need to maintain that. In addition, I also need to keep up with my extracurricular activities; by joining clubs, volunteering, and doing other activities outside of school, I’m able to create a solid resume for myself. Finally, I need to make sure to work to get scholarships, and other forms of financial aid to gain the support I would need to pay for college. My goals are a bit out of my reach at the moment, but I’m sure…

The Tuesday before my recital, I had my second to last lesson with my teacher, Fred Scerbo, before the recital on Sunday. I was preparing a piece by Charlie Parker named "Anthropology". Despite its difficulty, I felt that I would be able to perform it well.…

I remember when I was 5, the first time I went to a building daily for 8 hours. I sat down on the cold blue chair. In front of me was a bin of crayons, all the colors of the rainbow: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and purple. I remember sitting in the cold room and having the freedom to draw marks on my blank sheet of paper.
