Back in 2nd grade a few of us had a bug funeral. Lily and produced the interment, she brought in the wooden box and together we laid tissues in the box so the deceased would have a soft place to R.I.P. The next day, we prepared the body for the 7 cadaverous bug. I performed the ceremonial funeral speech.
“Dearest beloved, we are gathered here to remember the life of Henry, he was a great bug.” I preached.
“Amen!” Lily said.
