Graduation Speech: Kelsey's Home

“We have to escape tonight,” Kelsey states, showing no emotion whatsoever.
“What are you talking about? Escape?” Dahlia is beyond confused right now.”
“You know I always sneak out at night without Jack knowing? Well, last night I was at a gas station when I say a poster of you from 6 years ago saying MISSING. Dahlia, you were kidnapped when you were 10 and you got drugged so you’d never remember any of it,” Kelsey says, tearing up.
“That’s not very funny to joke about, Kels. I am not kidnapped. We are his daughters. Why are you acting so strange?” Dahlia won’t believe it even if it is the truth. “I have no other family so that doesn’t even make any sense.” Dahlia and Kelsey keep talking until she believes Kelsey.
"We have to get out of here," Dahlia said with discomfort in her voice.
“We will. Stay calm,” Kelsey replied,

Up on the wall, she points to a missing person sign with Dahlia’s 10-year-old face on it and a number to contact someone. Dahlia is speechless, tears welling up in her eyes.
“Do I call those people? Do I call the police? What do I do?” Dahlia has so many questions that Kelsey can’t answer so they go up to the clerk and ask to use the phone. Dahlia decides to call the police. She tells them where she is, and who she is and then hangs up.
The police arrive and bring her and Kelsey down to the police station for questioning and call Dahlia’s parents nonstop until they wake up. Kelsey watches as Dahlia’s mom, dad, and brother all run up and hold each other for a very long, crying tears of happiness that their daughter is finally home. Kelsey tells the police right away that she is Jack’s daughter and he kidnapped Dahlia and held them both hostage. She then led the cops to his house where they arrested him. Kelsey stayed with Dahlia’s family because Dahlia was the closest to family that she had left; which was alright for both of
