Christian High School Characteristics

Four years ago I made a decision that would benefit me for the rest of my life. Although my father is a graduate of Brother Martin High School, he thought that Jesuit would be a better fit for me because he felt it was the best academic institution. My mother also thought it would be a great place for me to go, because she believed that Jesuit would better prepare me for college. I visualized Jesuit being a nice fit for me because I liked the way that Jesuit students carried themselves and how successful its students are. As most people would, I took my parent’s advice and decided to go to Jesuit High School. My first three years at Jesuit have been outstanding and I have experienced some of the greatest moments of my life. Jesuit High School has made me the man I am today. I have recognized that Jesuit tries its best to instill in a student all five characteristics of the Profile of a Jesuit Graduate. These five characteristics are open to growth, intellectual confidence, religious lifestyle, loving relationships, and committed to doing justice. I am sure that I would not of excelled in these components without Jesuit High School. In my final two years of Jesuit High School, I hope to improve my religious life. I hope to put more effort towards my devotion to God. Since Jesuit offers many activities to become closer to God, I anticipate attending some extracurricular activities that will help my growth to God. I plan to go to mass more often and do what I can to support the poor. As graduation nears, I look forward to improving and using what Jesuit has taught me in my future
