African Americans are being killed and are receiving no justice. The poor are becoming poorer while, everyone focusing on their personal cause. This nation sought to benefit themselves selfishly not seeing how they can give something up for the bigger picture to prosper as a nation. Once these colonies put away their differences and fought together they made a nation, they made a democracy; they made the United States of America. Let us not fight against one another but fight with one another, honoring our equivalent qualities and strengths because no one is greater than the other; all lives matter.
To define our character let us give our part to our cause, this nation's future.
If the people of this nation set aside their disagreements and focus on the prosperity of this nation it can grow, just as a Hispanic woman, whose immigrant father delivered pizzas and the thought of her standing here a couple years ago giving an inaugural oath might have been believed to be impossible has changed that possibility. This nation has changed the restrictions on various opportunities. A new generation has been born and together we stand in this land and when asked, “who am I?” the answer is a combination of woman, man, white, black, Asian, Latino, immigrant, rich, and poor:
