Graduation Speech: How Police Are Targeting African Americans

Today I want to tell you about what is happening in today's world. But more specifically I want to talk about how police are targeting African American and sometimes policemen are even killing innocent African American and get away with it since the judge says he made a mistake. How many times does a mistake happen until you realize that you are doing something wrong? There are many victims of African American get shot multiple times because the police assume that the individual has a weapon and will shoot, them since they assume he’s a threat to the community. For instance, according to Opposing Viewpoints article of police involved in the death, it shows large amounts of deaths that happened from 2013 to 2016. Furthermore most of them are through me that they can’t do anything but that’s not true we can do many things to stop this violence. we can get up and peacefully protest even though that's very dangerous since there have been many cases that got people hurt for peacefully protesting against the police we can use this against the police and show them that there are wrong. And it's a crime if they hurt any of the peaceful protests because everyone has the freedom of speech and no one can violate that amendment because it's one of the oldest laws and it always manta lot to the American people it’s that amendment that got us to where we are.
