Graduation Speech: Hi Acuity

Decent Essays
Hi Acuity,
I must say, you seem to be into a lot of the same things I am. I too enjoy the TV show Arrested Development and eating human food. I love to talk to other humans and help them with their problems. I tend to do that for free, so I figure I'd be good at doing it for a job. I'm a Marine Corps veteran and a college student who loves learning and getting things done. I also love researching things and solving puzzles, so I guess you could say I'd make a good Sherlock (or at least Dr. Watson.) I look forward to learning more about you and helping large numbers of wonderful human people!
Your's,

The most excellent Bethany

His speech is blunt about what people will face in their life after education. That adult life is boring, repetitive, trivial, tiring. Yet despite being adult life being unsatisfactory, Wallace always says it will only be those things because of your perspective.…

As I walked into the school of DollyHigh, everyone congratulated me on becoming Valedictorian on the campus. I moved in Dolly about four years ago after my mom and dad got a divorce. Although the divorce done me and my mom bad we both knew we needed to start our own new lives. I remember walking into Dolly high for my freshman year and remembering what it feels like to be known as “The New Kid” or “Fresh Meat”. Look at me now, the Cheer captain of the squad, Valedictorian, and joining in on many clubs to make my collage record look professional.…

What They Never Told You About Mistakes Is perfection really obtainable? Can we reach this abstraction without first falling and lending ourselves into the hands of failure? Thomas takes the controversial, misinterpreted concept of mistakes and parallels it with a hope so empowering that it yields progress. Most people tend to correlate mistakes with falling short and the incapability to achieve success on a level that offers satisfaction. However, Thomas rightfully and sufficiently sheds mistakes under the same positively-connotative words such as “lucky” and “hope.”…

Greetings, Class of 2023. Today, we get to celebrate the culmination of our thirteen years of hard work in school with graduation, and I have been asked to deliver this year’s commencement speech. I would like to thank all of the people that have brought us here: family members, teachers, principals, and people who would go out of their way to encourage us to keep trying hard even in the midst of failure. Without you, we would not be standing on this stage today. I would like to start by defining the word “commencement.”…

Graduation was a time to celebrate my achievements, to celebrate growing up and maturing into adulthood, to celebrate my friends and family that guided me along the way, and most importantly to celebrate one chapter coming to an end, and another one just beginning. The night before graduation I could hardly sleep as I knew that my high school career would soon be over. I got up that next morning, took a shower, put my makeup on, straightened my hair, and put my favorite black dress on, only this time I had my chords, cap, and gown to go with it.…
