Transitioning from high school to college was tough, being alone was even tougher. Leaving my comfort zone and meeting new people, I managed to move past the transitioning state and build a future for myself. It wasn’t until my second year, that I started enjoying my major classes and became involved in extracurricular activities. I’ve realized the only way to become successful and accomplish the ambitious goals I had in mind, was to move past my comfort zone. I joined Muslim Student Association, an organization on campus that brought Muslims of different races, years, and majors together to bridge the gap between other religious organizations, in which I met one of my closest friends and a year afterward, I became the president of the organization. I’ve always strived for more and wanted to become more involved with campus life. During my presidency, there were senate elections on campus. I really wanted to join and it was always my goal to become involved in senate elections. I talked to a lot of people about it, and some said it would be
