Graduation Speech: City Credit Union

Decent Essays
As City Credit Union celebrates seventy-five years of excellence, I want to take this grand opportunity to thank you for years of loyalty and for standing with us throughout the decades. Without your Membership, City Credit Union could not be here today to reflect strong assets, offer you advanced financial products and services, or to continue to demonstrate our commitment to financial education.

We have so much to be thankful for, such as the exponential growth we have experienced, even through the toughest times in our economy. In 1942 our Financial Statement reflected assets of $1,812.00 and seventy-five years later we are proudly over $360 million in assets. On the contrary to $50 in 1942, we currently have over $323 Million in Shares

Greetings, Class of 2023. Today, we get to celebrate the culmination of our thirteen years of hard work in school with graduation, and I have been asked to deliver this year’s commencement speech. I would like to thank all of the people that have brought us here: family members, teachers, principals, and people who would go out of their way to encourage us to keep trying hard even in the midst of failure. Without you, we would not be standing on this stage today. I would like to start by defining the word “commencement.”…
