Bright Water School Lock-In
Many of the students who attend the school dances we hold are overjoyed to hear that it 's possible there will be more dances held this year, and we entertained the idea of having seasonal dances. When I brought this idea up to my teacher, I was informed that the dances are, to my dismay, quite hard to put together. When Miss Kerr heard that the idea of dances and socializing with other class was important to the students, she presented the idea of a "Lock-in." I, and every other student I have mentioned this possibility to, have been overjoyed. I strongly hope we can make it happen. I am fully supportive of this idea and am willing to put all my efforts into creating this event.

Please discuss what you think is revised enough, and what needs to be deliberated further on. Food:
1. Each student is expected to eat dinner before they arrive at the “Lock-in” at 7:00pm.
2. Each student is required to bring $5.00 for pizza which will be bought later on that night.
3. A school will be chosen to provide snacks (sodas, chips, chocolate, veggies, dip, etc.)
4. A school will be chosen to bring breakfast for the following day. Probably bagels, cream cheese, and fruit.
5. Any student with a food restriction should let the school bring food know ahead of time, or bring their own food.
Media
1. Movies will be played in the Science Lab from 8:00pm-2:00am.
2. Any movies played must be of a P.G.13 rating or below.
3. We may send a request list ahead of time to ask for movie suggestions.
4. We may also have a dance party in the Science Lab at some point throughout the night. The music will be played off a computer.
Rooms
1. The “Lock-in” will need five rooms, which we hope can be provided by teachers who will allow us to use their rooms once they have gone for the …show more content…
Students will bring their own hygienic supplies; i.e. toothbrush, toothpaste, pads/tampons, etc.

Odds and Ends/Questions
1. Will students be allowed to bring their phones, only to contact parents? If so, they can be placed in a bin and only accessed when necessary
2. Miss Kerr is willing to stay up through the night, but we need more adults to stay for the “Lock-In”. Can we open up the positions to any parents of Bright Water students who would be willing to spend the night at the school? Any adults would need to be able to help a student at any time through the night, but would not necessarily need to stay up for the whole night. If parents are not an option for some reason, how many adults from other schools would we need to come? Some schools may not be able to/want to send a representative, can multiple adults come from one school if needed?
