As previously explained, a good student should avoid absence unless a true emergency arises. One’s presence is a high priority because they are actively engaged with the professor; they take notes and are in constant interaction with their professor both during and after the course. Keeping this strong relation with your professor can be further reinforced by taking time to ask questions about the material and future assignments. Additionally, a student should make every attempt to find time with a tutor if their teacher is unavailable (this tip was heavily emphasized by two of the academic advisors, Mr. Ralph and Ms. Morgan, both of whom were spoken to on Dec 2nd from 1:01 pm-1:06 pm . Good habits, as the ones mentioned prior, will prove most useful, whereas bad ones will, undoubtedly, result in unsatisfactory results, which was the case for myself. It up to the student to decide which set of habits to follow. Either they follow a qualified and professional manner which can not only benefit their grades, but also follow them into their careers, or watch the ones with such habits achieve success and build their future while they wallow in self-loathing over their failure to follow such rudimentary, yet effective conducts.
