Graduation Speech: A Letter To Veterans

I am an eighth grader at McCord Junior High School. My English class is writing letters to veterans, and thanking them for Veterans Day. I am very thankful for your service. I thank you for protecting me, and everyone in America. I thank you for putting yourself in danger, for me and everyone in America. You and many other veterans have helped make America what it is today.

We will never forget what you and all the other veterans have done for us. Many people take it for greeted but I just wanted to say thank you. All the branches and services, man or female have helped us make this country a better place today. A few i’m my family member have been in the service.
