Graduating from high school is important in furthering a student's education, making higher salaries in the future possible, and giving more lifetime opportunities. Every year over twelve million students drop out of high school in the United States. Although a large number of students do graduate, the drop out rate is a serious problem. Upon entering school, students are taught that they must stay in school. Maybe it is time to teach students the high price that they may have to pay with their future if they do not finish high school.
