In the article The Impact of Alcohol on Society it states that alcohol impacts marriages and all family members, and it extends into the community, schools, the workplace, the healthcare system and into society as a whole. When there is alcohol abuse, employers are also affected by the loss of production due to absenteeism because of drinking the night before. Then there is poor job performance, this creates a set of problems for their employers for example injuries, sleeping on the job, long breaks, low productivity.
