One accomplishment that took a great deal of effort was lacrosse. Right from the start of freshman year, I knew that I wanted to become a good lacrosse player, enough to make an impact on the game. I did numerous clinics and leagues for two years straight, I worked as hard as I possibly could to become the player I wanted to be. Throughout my training, there were times where I felt like I was never going to be as good as I longed to be, but my family and my coach motivated me to work through because they felt that the hard work would be worth it. Whenever I was feeling like this, I would always turn to them because they reminded me of how hard I worked and how great I would feel once I felt the reward.…

A glimpse at my exquisite grades that I have kept in four years of challenging classes reveals not only my effort, but my endless determination as well. Also, I put time and effort into my extracurricular activities in order to benefit my school’s community. I painted a mural of the Mt. Hope Bridge to beautify a conference room, helped plan countless events for the entire student body, from spirit weeks to…

Transcripts Although there were moments of downfall, overall I am proud of the grades I have been able to accomplish over these past four years, taken into consideration that I am student involved in many extra-curricular activities. There have been plenty of times when I have greatly struggled in a class or I could not grasp a specific concept in class. Moments like these greatly discouraged me, and as much as it seemed just easier to give up, I continued to push myself to go the extra mile because I knew the grades I had previously received, were not an accurate measure of what I am capable of. Because of the extra effort I was putting into my work, I began to see positive results, therefore boosting my levels of self-motivation and confidence.…
