Creative Response Gracious, by definition gracious means showing divine grace. Grace by the Christian definition means the free and unmerited favor of God, as manifested in the salvation of sinners and the bestowal of blessings. And lastly, Tempest by definition. A wild, windy, and vicious storm. This gives me chills because God has such a wild and vicious love for us. My favorite worship song ‘Gracious Tempest’ by Hillsong Worship reminds me so greatly of the beautiful relationship we have with our heavenly father. I had been through a lot, and I felt as if God was just sitting there laughing at my pain. Unbeknownst to me that wasn’t it at all. When we are going through hard things we tend to blame God and feel like he doesn’t hear us. We feel entitled to have our problems fixed instantly, and when that doesn’t happen we get angry at God when in reality he doesn’t owe us anything. We could have it a lot worse than we do. That is truly what we deserve but, God gracious as he is, gives us all that we need and more. Furthermore, God does nothing by accident. While I was busy being angry about having to move and going to middle school. God was slowly but surely leading me to becoming
