Where the Mountain Meets the Moon is an action-adventure book by Grace Lin. In the cold, black Valley of Fruitless Mountain, a poor, young, Chinese girl named Minli sets off on an adventure to change her family’s fortune by meeting The Old Man of the Moon. The Old Man of the Moon is the god-like man who controls destiny. Minli meets many fantastic and magical creatures along her way to the mountain, including a dragon made from paper who accompanies her. I would give Where the Mountain Meets the Moon 5 stars because it is an amazing book. It is very exciting and had an impactful end. I would definitely recommend Where the Mountain Meets the Moon to others, including my
