Changes occur throughout our lives both when we expect them and when we least expect them. For Grace and Frankie, change came when they least expected it. At supper one evening with their husbands, assuming a big retirement announcement, they are instead bombarded with the biggest news of their lives. Their husbands are leaving them both, for each other (Kauffman & Morris, 2015). The lives of these two women, as they feel, has been blown apart. The men have chosen to take this step because they wish to spend their remaining years together since they have been fighting it for over 20 years (Kauffman & Morris, 2015). This leaves both women needing to refocus their own lives. In this comedy-drama, you watch how Grace and Frankie embark on this new chapter together.
