Government Persuasive Speech

Decent Essays
In 1776, America was born a free nation full of God fearing men who were not afraid to get their hands dirty and help each other out. When we didn't care what other people thought we just did what we thought was right in our hearts, and in our minds. We had a government for the people and by the people. They did what was best for our country, now it only matters how much money you have and how much you can persuade someone into their ideas. Our government should worry more about the people of our country than what's going on in some countries across the world. We should fix our own problems before we start to fixing yours.

More Canadians than ever seem to prefer flying out of U. S. airports to reach their destinations. This is largely due to the cost efficiency of catching a flight from a facility such as SeaTac Airport instead of a Canadian airport. If you are driving to SeaTac to catch a flight, you probably wish to find a parking facility with affordable rates, and you’ll certainly want to be sure that your car is left in a safe place. Like countless fellow Canadians, you may well appreciate the low prices, convenience, and other benefits of leaving your vehicle at an off-site SeaTac Airport parking lot, such as Aeroparking’s Park & Fly lot. Quick Access to SeaTac Airport One of the top benefits of long-term parking with Aeroparking is the quick trip…

The American flag is the very definition of our country, our 50 united states, red for our valor, white is our purity, and the blue for our vigilance. It should be protected for what it stands for. It may be controversial due to the 1st Amendment and it’s freedom of speech, but I believe it gone through too much to be treated in such a way,…

“The true soldier fights not because he hates what is in front of him, but because he loves what is behind him,” said G.K. Chesterton. A love for their country is why my veterans serve. It never really sunk into me how much veterans sacrifice for us. I think that we need to show as much respect to people that have served in the military forces to make us be able to be free. Or be able to pursue whatever we would like to.…

I am going to start out talking about our 2nd amendment, the right to bear arms. In today’s society you might as well bite your tongue, we have our people who believe they should be ripped away and others who say that everyone should own a gun. But what would Andrew do? Personally I believe Andrew would have wanted to keep guns, 1 reason being that he killed Charles Dickinson in a duel. These 2 relentlessly hated each other but this event had sparked after a horse derby, Dickinson stated that Jackson had lied about changing his bet on a certain horse and proceeded to call him a coward and as well told Jackson’s wife that she was a bigamist.…

In both past and current society, veterans do not get the appropriate welcome home that they should. In past times they have been so demeaned by their fellow citizens for fighting in a war that nobody wanted to take part in. Whether it be by words or physical means instead of being held high for putting themselves on the line for us, they were broken down to feel as if they were nothing more than worthless trash. Many people believe today that warriors come home and get welcomed back with opened arms; however, this may be the case, but do our soldiers deserve only a measly two or three hours of praise? Think about how much more we could and should do to not only praise, but also support and help sustain the men and women that have fought for…
