I had the great pleasure of visiting Richmond City School Board meeting which was held at School Board Room, 17th Floor City Hall on December 7,2015 . On Wednesday, November 16, 2016 we attended the Missouri State Board of Nursing to watch six nurses come forward to defend their license against the council. The six nurses that are reviewed by the board, had violations and disciplinary actions to be taken. The first nurse who was a registered nurse had disciplinary actions against her license and was practicing in the state of Arkansas without a renewed license. Although, she exclaimed that she haffad not been reminded by the board to renew her license, even though she knew she it was necessary to renew her license every two years.…
MCABOE Board of Directors Meeting Mrs. Taylor attended the MCABOE Board of Directors meeting on September 30. A president, vice president, secretary and treasurer were elected. The next meeting is November 4 and they are offering Community Relations Leadership (CBA 106) to all Monroe and Lenawee County district board members. On April 19, 2015, Mr. Irons claims that Officer Shropshire advised him that he needed to submit to a urinalysis. It was a lovely day and I was able to attend the unit meeting. Our care manager discussed a lot of pertinent information that can improve the quality of care that we are giving to the residents in the unit. She emphasised about the completion of short term care plans, bowel book and incident forms. She also reminded the staff regarding the incoming staff auditing, infection control policies, management of outbreak and confidentiality of the residents. In addition, she informed all the staff to keep the medicine cupboards locked at all times, avoid overfilling the white bags and be aware of the toileting needs of the residents.…

I think that having health care information in a flat screen TV or in notice board can encourage people to improve their wellbeing. Notice board has a mixture of real information such as events, public awareness campaigns such as STOP SMOKING WALES, official policy information from the health board, self-help groups and information of sexual health. Looking at the flip side of this, having too many posters, mix messages and leaflet in the notice board can make patients to be confused and stress because the notice board is not clear enough for them to read it and understand the messages that need to be delivered. The focus is the forming of a new public safety leadership team for the University of Cincinnati’s Public Safety Department which was brought on by the killing of Samuel DuBose in 2015. Samuel DuBose was an unarmed black male that was shot and killed by University of Cincinnati police officer Ray Tensing during a traffic stop (Blow, 2015). Questions have been raised regarding the increase in traffic stops, with a focus on the number of traffic citations issued to black people over white people.
