"When we get home I'm going to the bathroom," I said " you guys don’t go anywhere."
"Ok, Mom." Tommy and Tristen both answered me, Savannah just grunted because she was non-verbal due to her severe autism. When we pulled into the gravel driveway of our blue suburban home. It had a brown door with a red wreath and a pond in the back. I rushed to the bathroom, and 10 seconds later I hear the door the door alarm go off!
"Ding! Ding! Ding!"
"Tommy, Tristen, Savannah?!?" I called but no one answered. When I finished in the bathroom about a minute or two later I saw that our blue front door was wide open and the red wreath was on the floor! I looked around the inside of my home, hoping they didn't go outside. The inside of my house was a dull tan color. The fake fire place was on and for some reason the living

"There's still 50 yards to go. They could have left by now." I heard Sally say but she sounded doubtful.
When we got farther down the hill I saw Tommy's red bike helmet in the water.
"Oh my gosh!" Sally saw it before I did. Not five feet away from the helmet is a skinny girl in pink flower pants and a green shirt floating on the surface! I was screaming as I was trying to climb the fence!
"Wait, Beth, where is Tommy?" I wiped my head around as trying to find him as Sally pulled me down saying "Beth, you can't swim. Let me go get her." As she was talking out of the corner of my eye I saw the helmet move.
"No!" I screamed "Tommy's in the pond!" But I could tell Sally already knew that he was in the pond.
When Sally finally hit the ground on the other side the fence, I was talking to the police on the phone.
"My son and daughter are in a pond. My daughter's name is Savannah, she is seven years old and had autism. My son's name is Tommy, he is two. We live in Idaho Falls. My neighbor Sally is hauling Tommy out now. I can't swim, so I can't help her."
