He invited me to sit with him while he got ready to perform. He just turned 95 years old and it was an honor to be in the company of someone so humble and talented. The layout of the orchestra was a bit crowded as they we all seated around a pool area in the backyard of the Roten estate. They were seated in rows with a slight arch to them. Each section, had a microphone and there was a piano in the far left. There were three rows of musicians. There were 19 in all, including the vocalist Bill A. Jones and the band leader Johnny Vana. The vocalist, Jones, did not sing on all of the pieces of music. The vocals with accompaniment are marked in the above list with a V following the name of the original
