“God exists and reveals himself to all of creation in many ways, but especially through his word both the incarnate Word (Jesus) and the written word (the Bible).” (Esqueda) God is a forgiving God and quickly showed our first parents that they would have a descendant that would crush the serpent (Genesis 3:15). The descendant being Mary giving birth to the Christ child that would grow into our Savior and conquer Satan with the atonement.
