Gordon Korman Schooled Analysis

In Gordon Korman’s novel Schooled one of the major theme is Sophie Donnelly changes by changing the way she looks at Capricorn by realizing that she is a shame of all of the mean and hatred things that she done and said. At first, when she found out this hippie was going to be living with her she judges Capricorn way to quickly ,When she said “Mother-are you on drugs? How could you bring that-that freakazoid into our house?” ‘Shhh-Sophie. He’ll hear you.” “I want him to hear me!” Sophie shrieked. “How else is he going to get the message clear out?”
“He has nowhere else to go,” Mrs.Donnelly pleaded. “And that’s my problem? Just because he comes from the same hippie-dippie flea circus where you grew up doesn't mean we have to adopt him!”
