Employees’ ideas are considered as very important in Google Inc., which brings me to the esteem needs; it refers to the necessity of humans to feel respect, self-esteem, and self-confidence. Esteem needs is defined as human’s eagerness of being approved and admired by others. In Google, employees ' opinions are equally valuable and are crucial in the development process of the company. According to Maslow, people get involved in activities to obtain recognition from others, which gives them the perception of being useful. He focused on two different sides of esteem needs. Many people want to work in companies like Google because they offer plenty of opportunities for success personally and labor. Victor Vroom proposes that an expected result will definitely motivate an individual to act in a certain way. In other words, the stimulation behind certain behaviors is determined by the desirability based on the expected outcome. People will be willing to work harder believing that the extra effort will be rewarded either in school or in their job. Some people called this “luck”, I don’t. The harder you work, the more opportunities you will get in life. I have always tried to put one hundred percent of energy into my education; I do so I can tell myself that I tried my best.
