CHAPTER III
METHODOLOGY
In this chapter it focuses on the methods that the researchers used and techniques followed for achieving this research. The methods define everything that need to construct, especially on the materials that the researchers used.
In here, the researchers will discuss on how the research is being done. By …show more content…
A case studies are thorough investigations of a person, group, or community. It is typically, data are gathered from a variety of sources and by using several different methods like observing and interviewing. The case study method often involves simply observing what happens to, or reconstructing the case history of a participant or group of individuals. A Case studies allow a researcher to investigate a topic in a far more detail than might be possible if they were trying to deal with a large number of participants with the aim of averaging. McLeod, (2008).
SAMPLING PROCEDURE
The researchers only wanted exact 10 students to be interviewed for their research because the researchers think that 10 students are enough and the right amount to be interviewed and the researchers think that in that amount, the students can answer the researchers’ questions easily, quickly and dissimilar kinds of responses.
The researchers used the purposive sampling technique. Purposive sampling is a sampling technique in which a researcher depends on his or her own judgment or conclusion. Purposive sampling is also known as judgment, selective or subjective sampling. Black et al, …show more content…
There are different problems that the researchers made that is related to the study.
PROCEDURE
This procedure will show on how much time and influence students spend in google search and the purpose why they used Google Search. Mostly of student use computer for many purposes. But some of them don’t have a computer in their homes. So they go to the computer shop. So the observation will be conducted in a computer shop. By observing 10-20 minutes and asking question to 10 students as a respondents, that will show how google search is very useful and influence in every students.
By this method the researcher will identify how often the student use google search in education purpose. It will show whether students use google for homework purposes or activities that are not related to school. The interview will also include questions such as how often do they use the site and what are the topics that they are searching within a time
