The story is about a kid the age of thirteen, me. I was up stairs on the second floor, in my room waiting, for my mother to come home from the store at the edge of town by the highway. That is where my story begins. There was a sweet smell coming from the kitchen at the middle of the three story house. I could not find what that smell was. I went down the winding ,creaking stairs. The first floor looked like no one was there. I saw my father sitting in the broken down tv chair. I asked “where is mom”? My mother gave me dishes for a whole

My father tends to cook meals, but considering how busy he was we ordered pizza that would last us two days. On Day 3, I attend modelling classes with my sister in Sacramento from 12-3pm. Normally I hold off my hunger until I get home to eat (which isn’t until 5pm because of traffic), but my sister began complaining for food so we went out. Another point I can make is that because I knew I had to record my food intake for this project, I held myself back on eating. But it doesn’t mean I didn’t want to tell you want I ate, it was more like I didn’t want to hassle and confuse myself with food servings and how much I ate.…
