In my hopeful future line of work as a social worker in policy, I will be working not only with adults but on behalf of children as well. In my future profession, and in any job being held in my life, it is imperative that I create good working relationships in order to create policy efficiently and effectively. Skills such as Assessment and Goal Setting are great tools to use in an office environment. The staff will be able to be assessed as to find their problem areas in work and use those to create change. For example, this would be critical in order to help evaluate staff for a salary raise or promotions. Goal Setting would also be a major component. Setting a goal will help the staff not only understand their problem areas but also decrease
