Atheists say that a God who is all-powerful, all-knowing and perfectly good shouldn’t allow evil in the world. Why should there be evil is created all that we know? After God flooded the world and this is where we learn of the story of Noah and Ark, God said that He wouldn’t interfere with the affairs of humans because that is why He flooded the earth on the first place. Evil was gaining too much of a foothold in the hearts of humans. God loves us and because it hurt Him so much to have killed the evil in humanities hearts that He would never again flood the earth or to interfere. In every evil act God is there, He doesn’t want there to be humans who would choose evil or for us to have to make a choice between good and evil, a choice the places us further and further away from Him and the Kingdom of Heaven. Since God can be seen in everyday, ordinary acts of kindness, things like holding a door open for a stranger or just having a good demeanor towards another person could make that person have a much nicer day. There is evil in the world. Humans have free will to choose. God is everywhere. Therefore, even when humans choose to do evil God is there. Humanity has the capabilities to do great good and great evil. God gave us free will to do whatever we want in hope that we will make a better world for future generation. We have come a long way since we first lived in caves to where we have advances in medicine that would make Einstein look at in awe. But in that space of time we have seen many horrible evils that should never have happened. Hitler’s genocide of millions of people who weren’t what he thought to be the correct person. Hurricane Katrina that displaced thousands of people, the list can go on. God just doesn’t want these things to happen. He doesn’t stop them because He won’t interfere with human affairs.
