The separation of good and evil has been argued about for as long as humankind can remember. To truly be good, a person would have to know the difference between the two. In my opinion, good behavior is being kind, considerate, and fair. Evil behavior, in the other hand is when someone uses wickedness, selfishness, or greed to affect others. “Good” is filled with purpose to help others, while “Evil” is the opposite of good, going against all positive influence.
I believe the separation of good and evil came into the world during biblical times, when Adam and Eve ate the fruit of the cursed tree. In the existence of both good and evil, we as people should not commit our lives to doing what best benefits us, but instead focus on discovering what would make a positive impact on others as a whole. A personal experience i had related to this topic was one time nine years ago, in preschool. Due to some rain, we had to stay inside for recess. That day i snuck a small toy doll out of my homeroom class, and took it to my house to keep. If we stop attempting to make Earth as great as it can be, we as humans may “break off” from one another, going towards the ideas that benefit us as individuals rather than the whole of our community. Evil is shown as people branch off into separate groups, ignoring others and only doing enough to keep themselves alive. As these groups are becoming more and more influenced and blinded by their own greed, these small groups or individuals destroy others for their own gains.
