There are many qualities that I acquire that would make me a successful captain. I am a very patient, compassionate, responsible, and understanding person. I will make sure to communicate with the coaches and others throughout this season. Knowing sportsmanship is an importance aspect of this game, I will demonstrate and encourage players to express sportsmanship as well. One example of when I have demonstrated leadership was during the summer conditioning. After I completed my conditioning, I assisted those who were still finishing their sets by physically finishing the activities with them or by cheering them on. Another time I demonstrated leadership was during the pig dissection in science. After the teacher assigned the project to the class, we were divided into our groups. I took the leadership role and made sure everyone in the group was included. There were three of us in the group. I asked what each person wanted to do; one insisted they took the pictures; the other wanted to dissect, leaving me with the duty to help dissect the pig and construct a PowerPoint of the whole project. Being a leader requires guidance, effort, and time. I am wiling to sacrifice my time for the betterment of the team and I am willing to go the extra
