“Becoming a vegetarian has become more appealing and accessible, thanks to the year-round availability of fresh produce, more vegetarian dining options, and the growing culinary influence of cultures with largely plant-based diets,” claims Harvard. In other words, since having this type of diet is available and easy access, most people start to try it and end up enjoying it. This means some people might even have personal gardens and/or farms for their food which helps the soil and air have more clarity. “About two million have become vegans, for going not only animal flesh but also animal-based products such as milk, cheese, eggs, and gelatin,” says Harvard. Equally, as good as it is for the environment and its species to go this direction, overpopulation can backfire quickly. Also, vegan diet does not include any protein causing this diet’s users to become even more unhealthy. “Even if you don't want to become a complete vegetarian, you can steer your diet in that direction with a few simple substitutions, such as plant-based sources of protein — beans or tofu, for example — or fish instead of meat a couple of times a week,” implies Harvard. Instead, fish are very populated compared to cows, pigs, birds, and sheep. Using fish meat, soy, beans, veggies, and fruit farms, you are increasing the air quality. You are also allowing the animals to provide clothing, lard for flavor, and allowing the air to not smell animal poop. In conclusion, the environment deserves some TLC
