Macbeth

In the Scottish play Macbeth written by William Shakespeare, we see Macbeth as a good man who does pure evil and pays a huge value for it. Macbeth loses everything such as his power, his reputation, his mind and the love of his life (lady Macbeth). He kills Duncan thinking that in doing so he will get all the power and position that he deserves. He knows that he has to kill anyone in his way of becoming king. He was a good man who was honored and worshiped he killed people to get the things he wanted not needed, which made him lose everything he valued. Also, In the beginning of the play, everyone looked up to Macbeth as a strong warrior. He fought brutally in the battlefield against the traitor Macdonwald. Macbeth takes Macdonwald head and put it on the castle walls. Everyone see Macbeth as unstoppable. He shows courage determination and power. Anyone who crosses his path will fail. King Duncan was told about Macbeth's nobility on the battlefield. King Duncan celebrated Macbeth as a worthy gentleman. Macbeth took lives of others to protect King Duncan and the county. Most of all, Macbeth appeared to be a good man and King Duncan trusted him completely, but Duncan had no clue of the many dreadful thoughts that took over Macbeth mind. When there at the banquet we finally see how Macbeth lost control of his mind and emotions Macbeth raises a toast and calls special attention to Banquos absence. Ross invited Macbeth to sit with them. Macbeth starts to have another vision. The ghost (Banquo ) shows up, Banquo seats in Macbeth seats and Macbeth starts to act crazy . "Thou canst not say I aid it. Never share thy gory looks at me ." Macbeth thinks that he is speaking to Banquo ghost but he is talking to himself and everyone looks at him
