Who in this world has never played or heard about the game Pokemon? I am sure that every teenager used to play the game when he was a kid or every older people have children who played years ago. I remember whenever I was a kid I used to love this game; getting the new version every year, meet with all my friends to play it together, but over the years the game became repetitive. Pokemon needed a blast, and it was accomplished with the released of Pokemon go. The game Pokémon is a Japanese franchise created by Nintendo which in the past few decades have been one of the most popular videogames. In July of 2016 after years without any movement in the office of Pokémon, they released Pokémon Go, a reality game for smartphones created by Niantic …show more content…
This game keeps the values of Pokemon games past like catching pokemon, evolve them or have battles in Gyms but the main different is that you are doing all this in the real world. This is what is called location-based augmented reality which means that you do not control your virtual avatar with a controller, instead of that, you walk around everywhere, and he follow your steps by a GPS signal. The most interesting thing about this augmented reality is that you do not have to be a huge fan of pokemon, you can just play in order to explore the world, have great experiences. Also you can check the most important monuments or memorials or each spots due to the fact that pokemon go have located the gymnasium where you can battle other player in historical places. An example here in Maryville, we can find one in the actual Covenant Stone or in the Highland Presbyterian Church. Another implement is the addition of what it is called “the Pokemon eggs”. This eggs give you wild pokemons, but in order to crack them you have to move 2, 5 or 10 kilometers depending the type of egg. This fact is making people have to walk long distances so that they can get the …show more content…
The fact that Pokemon Go has been the most downloaded and played game in the history is because of a reason, and that reason is that you enjoy playing the game. Differently with other games, like shooters or sport videogames, in Pokemon Go there are not purposes to get mad or upset whenever things do not go as you wanted. As I said before, the released of Pokemon Go has had good and bad consequences in the society. One of the good ones is that thanks to this game, people who play it has been more social and actually it has helped their lives due to the fact that they have been going outside to play the game and meet new people. According to Triplepundit, “What makes Pokémon Go so intriguing is the fact that it encourages people to be more socially and physically active. It combines the mobility of the Game Boy, the physical fun/exercise of the Wii, and the exciting new experience of location-based augmented reality.” Once you download Pokemon Go, you have to go to the streets to play it. There is no way that staying at home you can reach the goal of this game, catch pokemon. As a result of this fact, people started doing what now is call pokemon meet-ups. This basically consist of a group of complete strangers that meet up in an area where there use to be a lot of pokemon in their effort to catch them all. From my personal experience I can say

TITLE OF THE ESSAY Introduction In the year of 1984, an almost complete skeleton, with the exception of the hands and feet, of an eight-year old boy was found by Kamoya Kimeu in Nariokotome near Lake Turkana in Kenya (Brown et al., 1986). The Nariokotome Boy, formerly known as the Turkana Boy/WT 15000, was very special in that it was the only hominid from the H.erectus produced with the most complete skeleton and was chronometrically dated back to about 1.6 million years (Brown et al., 1986). The hominid was about 160 cm (5’3”) tall with a brain size of 880cm3. This discovery was thought to be very crucial, because such well-preserved postcranial elements make for a very unusual and highly useful discovery, because these elements are scarce at other H.erectus sites (Text-Book).…
