I am a big advocate for students to work in groups because students learn to collaborate which is very important in today’s workforce. Still, I was curious in how groups should be set up for students. That’s when the article provided suggestions in how to set up groups, which I will very much use in the future. I remember when I was in elementary school and loved when I was given opportunities to work with my friends. However, it was evident, that the noise level was higher in the class, than when groups were assigned. Therefore, assigning groups is not bad; in fact I encourage it, especially in primary grade levels.
