I think every day and say “What are childhoods?” Childhoods can bring back memories that can be funny or profound. Today, I would like to tell you about the childhood memory I experienced. In the mind of others, it was the funniest time of their life, but not mine. Now I learned from my memory and hope you do to. So let’s get started.
Before this happened we woke up, went to breakfast at the Harbor, and then went out and at the same time was listening to “Who let the dogs out.” It turned out to be a normal day out on Lake Cumberland until I threw my fishing rod into the water. I was crying, wanted to go home, and really wanted fish for dinner. It was too bad, hopefully next time I won’t totally freak out. I always wonder if the fish has carrion floating around or is it having an okay life dragging a fishing rod around? Still, to this day I have ambivalence on whether I should try to fish again or not. I think I won’t.
As a result, I was never allowed to fish until I was twelve years old. On this day I was devastated. My grandparents and my sister, still call me “scaredy cat” to this day which makes me respond “No I’m not” in an angry voice. I am still very scared of fish, but they sure are yummy. I will never forget this day and I hope you don’t too.
In conclusion, I hope this never happens to you or will not happen to you again. Today, I told you about my memory and how it was funny to my audience but not me. Who else doesn’t like fish? They are freaky right. P.S. my mom made me hold a fish and it was worst time of my life, but on the other hand my brother likes to stick his finger in the fishes eyeball.
