In 20 years, I’ll be a golfer. I beat my dad at golf, now. On good days, I hit farther and on bad days, not so far. Another reason why I’m going to be golfer when I grow up is, I live next to a golf course. You always have to be prepared and have more than 10 golf balls and tees. Having good clubs and always having the correct clothing for golfing. So this is what I want to do when I grow up.

On Veterans Day 2014, I asked my dad if we could play a round of golf. Since I was a baseball fanatic at the timen, my dad was surprised by my question, but nevertheless he set up a round of golf for us. When I hit a ball off the first tee, I knew I had found a new, strong passion. Although my swing was horrible, I was determined to practice golf everyday to become better. I told my mom about my exhilarating experience on the golf course later that night, and I slowly began to realize that I loved golf more than baseball for its independent aspects, unique serenity, exquisite views, and diverse challenges.…

I did not even know what to do with it. After the few couple practices I learned that I had to put the ball next to my neck, spin around a couple times, then throw it was far as I could on the sand.…

There is a problem that has plagued the nations of the world, including the American Public for an exceedingly long time, since before the handheld mobile phone being tapped by the government, since before the unrest in the middle east, since before the people were aware we were melting the ice caps. I’m not talking about the laws of war, I am talking about a much larger battlefield, one upheld in the minds & hearts of gentlemen as well as ladies who duel to uphold their honor along with their pride. I am talking about the green fields, sandy dunes, calm lakes, the grassy hills, and the tree roots of the battlefield upon which people defend their honor in times of peace, where challenges are civil.
