The hips turn back for a bit to create torque. Angular motion can be applied during backswing. Angular motion is when body or part of it moves in a circle about a point called the axis of rotation. A few angles can be seen during the backswing as when we bend left and right elbow they make different angles during the backswing. There are few errors during my backswing from this photo, my head has moved during the backswing. The other error is my club is not making close enough to my back. To fix my error in my head, only chest has to move or turn during the backswing. There are 4 different types of spin; topspin, backspin, slicing and hooking. The magnus effect explains how a spinning projectile, such as a ball, curves in flight. As the spinning object pushes the air from one side to the other, it will create a lower pressure zone, making the object move faster on one side.
