This book taught me a lot about the history of golf. The evolution of golf balls began when people made balls out of feathers and called them featheries but eventually they were made out of rubber and lasted longer leading to the balls we have now. I knew old clubs were made of wood but they were always smaller and did not have grooves in them. In one tournament a man who came up with putting grooves in his clubs ended up winning the tournament during bad weather! In conclusion, reading this made me learn how much easier but harder golf was and how modern golfers are way different from old golfers as well as golf courses.
