Although how a player swings the club is the most influential part in hitting the ball well, the player will still not achieve the perfect shot without concentration. While golfing, there are countless distractions and blocking those out is mandatory. I sometimes catch myself thinking of what has happened that day or what could go wrong with the shot; that lack of concentration will frequently cause me to hit an unacceptable shot. Concentrating on the positives of what could happen and how to swing the club correctly is the one key to becoming a successful golfer.
In life, concentration is equally important, especially in school. I often find myself daydreaming in the middle of class when the teacher is teaching. Later, I can 't remember details about what my class learned and have to ask my classmates. When I do concentrate, recalling information on tests is much easier. Concentrating on the lesson can improve grades and test scores. Along with school, focusing is also critical in the business world. Dr. Jim Taylor states, “Focus is so important because it is the gateway to all thinking: perception, memory, learning, reasoning, problem solving, and decision making”
