Goldilocks

For my fairy tale, I chose to read the story about “Goldilocks and the Three Bears”. In this story, Goldilocks is harassed and frightened by the bears. She is portrayed as the “bad” character in a few instances. In my opinion, she is a very inspiring young lady and the bears scurried her away for no apparent reason. Goldilocks was a good character since she was just hungry, tired, and unknown.
To start, Goldilocks was hungry and was searching for food which doesn’t make her a horrible character. Since we don’t know where she was coming from, she may have been starving for days. With a choice of three bowls of porridge, a sample was taken from each bowl. The first bowl was too hot and the second was the opposite. She may have been traveling and had not come upon a house in quite some time. Without food for days, it wouldn’t be hard for an individual to walk into a house and explore their options. Also, Goldilocks doesn’t have a family to rely on as the bears do. I firmly assume that Goldilocks had no rest in the prior days to this incident and that she was in dire need of it. Could Goldilocks had a family member that passed away and she was left alone to take care of herself? What if she was abandoned? These questions all sum up to the lack of knowledge the reader has about Goldilocks.
Overall, Goldilocks was not a bad character. She was extremely hungry and tired. The author presents her in a way that is unfair. To me, there is no question that Goldilocks may have been in trouble and in desperate need of food and shelter. Since she was unknown, there is no telling of what persuaded Goldilocks to enter the bears’ house. She had no family and was instead wandering around by herself in the woods. Although she did break into a house, Goldilocks happens to be a good character in the fact that she was tired, hungry, and
