Goldfish: A Fictional Narrative

Great Essays
I got home from school on Thursday, and set my backpack on my bed.
“Time to get some food…..” I said, right after my stomach made an especially loud rumble. I walked into the kitchen, poured some Goldfish into a bowl and sat down on the couch in the Living Room, and started to read a book while munching on my snack. I hadn’t gotten very far into my Goldfish when the phone started ringing. I picked up the phone and pushed talk.
“Hello?” I said.
“Hi, is this Adam?”
“Yes…. who is this?”
“Ohh, yah. Sorry, this is Jack Thompson.”
So, that's why the voice sounded so familiar…… As this thought ran through my head, I was wondering what the heck Jack would be calling ME about.
“Ohh! HI Jack! Whats up?”
“Well,” said Jack, “I was wondering if you were

As we finally got out of school, I met up with Jack and got on the bus. As we sat down in our regular seat, I asked Jack what the new Halo was like.
“Well,” he said, ”It’s really awesome! The graphics are in 4k! They look so good! And, The story so far (I haven’t played much, so that we both don’t know what's going to happen) is amazing! It’s been thought out very well.” As Jack said all this, it only made my anticipation of the game grow. I could hardly wait! Well, Jack told me more of what he understood of the game's’ controls and how well it handled until the bus finally stopped at Jack’s house. As we walked off, I gave the bus driver my bus pass and got off with Jack. As we were heading to his front door, he said “Oh, yeah! Adam, I forgot to tell you, I invited Trenton and Dylan over as well! I hope you don’t mind, but they figured out that I got the new Halo, and I couldn’t say no. But, Hey! At least it's an even number!”
“Hey, no sweat, man!” I replied. “The more the merrier!”
I set my stuff and my shoes down near the front door, and walked into the living room. Jack followed me, and

Next thing I knew, we were all wearing Spartan Armor and standing in an open field. As I looked around, I saw that everyone had a knife somewhere on their suit of armor, Jack had a sniper, Dylan had a big machine gun, Trenton had an assault rifle, and I appeared to be a technician. My armament included 2 pistols, with lots of extra ammo, 2 grenades of some kind, and a backpack full of technical odds and

She said, "what is that-those smells? All over you!" And he said, " I do not know, " real short, and made like he was sleeping.…

In the short stories “What, of this Goldfish Would You Wish,” and “The Wife’s Story,” by Etgar Keret and Ursulu K. LeGuin, respectively, and the majority opinion by Justice Brennan, “Texas vs Johnson,” characters or people do not show acceptance of others who are different. In the story “Goldfish” a young boy named Yonatan starts making a documentary (by himself) in which he knocks on peoples doors and asks, “If you found a talking goldfish that granted you three wishes, what would you wish for,” and he records their responses. One day Yonatan knocks on the door of a paranoid Russian who actually has a magic goldfish. Scared that Yonatan will take his fish Sergei (the Russian) grabs a stove burner and hits Yonatan on the side of his head, cracking…

The first breakthrough that I had was that you can create so many different things with this sandbox game, and you can also destroy everything that you have created as well, which was also quite fun might I add. Initially, I was looking for more things to add to my sandbox world, when I was frustrated and scrolling through the item lists on the side of the screen and I came across the explosives, that is when the lightbulb went off in my head. I got very frustrated at times when I was using this game because I couldn't find something or do what I wanted to do, then I would slow down a bit and really think about things and then boom, I had the answer would all of the sudden just pop into my head. I have found I have a similar way of doing things…

Gone Home is a narrative exploration game by the company Fullbright that stars Kaitlin Greenbriar returning to her family home after being overseas. Gone Home is often questioned on the complexity of its game play, and is often thought to be more of an interactive story, however it does fulfill the requirements of a game and I will be discussing various game play mechanics in Gone Home such as the different objects and their attributes, rules for game play and the overall design that help to support the narrative, as well as how all of this is used to create an effective story and why this is the best medium for such a story. I will start by giving the briefest of summaries; the game opens with Kaitlin, who we control in a first person perspective, returning home to a locked house all set in the 90s Their is a note left…

Okay so we all know or at least a fair few of us know and the rest can pretty much guess that Cooking Mama involved cooking stuff in a new and unique way utilising the features of bot the Wii and the DS and in doing so made that game huge, now because that game was such a success they have kept the words Cooking Mama in games that have nothing to do with cooking at all simply because the title means that these games have similar gameplay to the original cooking ones, so the question here is simple, is possible to have as much fun in Cooking Mama Outdoor Adventures?
