Like Charlie walking into the Chocolate Factory, it was apparent that I would need to maintain my sense of self. As a result of my desire to impact my fellow student body, I was awarded the most honorable golden ticket: Vice-President of my class during all four years of my high school career. Without trials and tribulations, a teenager may skyrocket into adulthood too quickly while their childhood naiveté and innocence quickly come to a close.
