Golden State Warriors 2014-15 Record: 67-15, 1st in Pacific Division, 1st in Western Conference

Golden State Warriors 2014-15 MVP: Steph Curry - 23.8 ppg (#6), 7.7 apg (#6), 286 3ptm (NBA record), 2.0 spg (#4)

Three Things I Think I Know About The Golden State Warriors:

I would pay to watch the Warriors practice
The Golden State Warriors currently employ the following: the NBA's single-season record holder for most made 3-pointers (286, Steph Curry); the NBA's record holder for most point in a single quarter (37, Klay Thompson); the NBA's career leader in 3PT % (45.4%, Steve Kerr); and the NBA's career leader in FT% (90.4%, Steve Nash - recently hired as Player Development Consultant). Put those four in a shooting competition, charge $50 on Pay-Per-View, and take

Draymond, while highly entertaining, has a mouth that won't quit. Curry is already up to his show-boating tricks. Two of their three best players (Green & Thompson) were born in the 90's. They're a young squad that will remind everyone they're the champs. However, the target is already painted on their collective backs. Now is not the time to be over-confident. Ask the Spurs how hard it is to repeat as champs!

2015-16 Team MVP Will Be:

Steph Curry

It's not enough that Curry hits 3-4 three-pointers PER GAME, he drains them with ridiculous efficiency (#3 in 3PT FG% last season). It's not enough that Curry breaks ankles on the offensive end, he also garnered more steals than anyone in the league last season. The Warriors, while extremely deep, will live and die on how Curry performs. In their two Finals losses against the Cavs, Matthew Dellavedova was miraculously able to slow him down. The reigning MVP is undoubtedly the most important player for the defending champs, and will continue to be this season.

Season Defining question:

Can Draymond Green improve his 3-point

New Orleans Pelicans superstar forward Anthony Davis is looking to accomplish a feat that hasn’t been done since the 1999-00 season by Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal. The feat that he is trying to carry out is winning both the MVP and NBA’s scoring title as a big man. As I mentioned, Shaquille O’Neal was the last big man to win both awards in the 1999-00 season as he averaged 29.7 points, 13.6 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per game. He also shot 57.4 percent from the field, including 57.5 percent on two-point field goals.…

Facing the juggernaut that has been created in Golden State for many years to come, unless James is meshed with another superstar, Irving’s departure will surely prevent any future championship for “the King.” James has depended on Irving’s clutch shots and ability to score for help during the playoffs. Currently, James is 3-5 all time in the Finals. It’s a pretty shabby record compared to that of Jordan’s 6-0 or even Kobe Bryant’s 5-1.…

Driven by this fine managerial group, the Spurs ooze class and achievement. All the more noteworthy when one considers that, in view of a thorough city-based pay information set created in 2009 by The Business Journals, San Antonio positioned 7,897th out of 14,214 U.S. urban communities in middle family wage ($43,087), one of the most reduced among NBA urban areas. In spite of the fact that it is neglectful to not call attention to that the financial structure of the NBA has at any rate given a small market group like the Spurs a battling chance at achievement. On the off chance that this were…

These formulas have worked for these two over their careers and had people debating about who the best point guard was for years. Now we have Westbrook, he is maybe the fastest player in the NBA and the most athletic player we have seen play the point guard position, he has very respectable mid-range and an improving three-point shot, very capable passer, and with his unmatched motor and athleticism he can guard the ball brilliantly. Curry, the only one of the four that now has a championship, has sparked the debate of best shooter ever, as he can shoot the ball against any defense accurately no matter the situation, he is very crafty ball handler that uses angles well, great passer, leads by example and plays the game with a smile which rubs off on his teammates, also he is a steadily improving defender. With that being said, the NBA is filled with great point guards, Curry, Westbrook, Paul, Kyrie Irving, Damian Lillard and Mike Conley. However Curry and Westbrook have quickly emerged as the two best at the position, which is very similar to Paul and Williams…
