Golden State Warriors Game-Personal Narrative

My Brother and I decide that we should check out a Golden State Warriors game for our first time. We have bought our Tickets from a friend of ours who had some for sell on the low. The guy was a white skinny Tweaker who had got his hand on them from another guy. The day of the game it was bright beautiful clear day. The sky was so clear that you could see all the Hot air balloons in the sky. We began our trip to Oakland where on our way there I witness people getting ready to go down the beach, by loading there jet ski or power boats. The long drive through Sonoma County was amazing looking at all the acres of the beautiful wine country. Before arriving to the Oakland Bridge we pasted through a tunnel where it turns dark with a mild light, …show more content…
The Bridge was silver like the Oakland Raiders team colors and enormously bigger than before it was rebuilt. There was so much traffic that it seemed as if 30,000 cars we passing by every hour. The view of the ocean was breath taking especially on a clear blue sky like today. The beautiful ocean was very clear you could see right through it. While thousands of cars passed by the waves crashed on the bridge. The bridge was tall that when I looked out to the view all of the ocean and the birds were flying by. After the long drive we got to the city of Oakland California. I passed by a poor neighborhood and you can see a bunch of homeless people walking down the broken up street. The stores and buildings around looked like abandon places with graffiti blasted all over. Driving down the street I saw a bunch of criminal activity such as drug dealing and even prostitution. The dealers would stand in corners covered in black and team colors of the Raiders. The prostitutes looked as they were drugged out and wearing the most skin less clothes I’ve ever seen. We arrived at the stadium of the Golden state warriors so many little kids and fans wearing the team

Honestly, I’ll come right out and admit that I have never been the Detroit Lion’s number one fan, or any football fan for that matter. Sure, I had technically gone to each of the homecoming games both years in high school, but only for the sole excuse of being able to put some red war paint on my face and attempt to catch up with some friends. The only exposure I had to the sport was walking through the doors of Phase Three during cross country season. Day after day, I was forced to push through groups of teenage guys reeking with a putrid stench of dried sweat, rotting eggs, and grass stains; the smell in itself was enough to make my eyes water.…

Excitement was running through my body. Although it took forever to get here I wanted to stay there for a while, the lights were amazing as the neon lights of the Las Vegas strip were lit up and very beautiful. Many people walked through the stores, or outside them enjoying the lights. I saw a roller coaster next to a castle, A hotel I suppose, and A giant black pyramid. I’m glad I went on this trip, I was very patient getting here,…

People coming from a different planet would think every day things we do in life are weird. What we have adapted to and think are normal look very weird to others who haven’t seen people doing things like this. Such as someone who has never shaved before would think that is very odd to shave your beard. Or someone who has never seen a drive threw would think it’s weird to have people have food handed out the window. As we think other cultures are weird we have to look at the fact that our culture is weird to others People that have never seen basketball would thing it is a bunch of people running around with a ball.…

My day started waking up extraordinarily early in a splendid five star hotel from an extremely comfortable and pulpy bed complimented with heavenly pillows. This joyful day fills my body with excitement and replays in my mind as if it had happened for the first time. This wasn’t your average birthday present, no not some gift card to GameStop, not some pair of Stephen Curry’s, not even the next Call Of Duty game. The exact moment these words accessed my ears I almost passed out my parents had told me Alex we are going to Queens, New York so you can meet Carmelo Anthony, I was so ecstatic. It felt like it was just yesterday I was packing my bags and filling it with New York Knicks merchandise, I was so immature I even packed my poster of him and his jersey.…

Leading up to the Denver Broncos third Super Bowl win to take the fiftieth ever nation football championship. You must know that ever since the establishment of the Broncos football organization my dad’s side of the family was involved. And, I don’t mean involved as in, “hey we watch the games.”. I’m meaning involved as in my great grandparents donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to the developing team. I’ve personally been to the Mile High Stadium at Sports Authority, in Denver, at least 15 times.…

Directly outside the entrance of the airport I was entranced. Leaving a skyline of dying trees and brisk weather and entering a bright flourishing tropic was a sight of wonderland. I fell in love immediately, the sun was high and bright, and the view was green, full of mountains in the horizon, just out of reach. I was astounded that I was in the big city, yet it was nothing like i’d seen before. The buildings weren’t tall or intimidating like back home, they second to the surrounding…

I finally saw the the beautiful sun for the first time without having to bend my head back as far as I could since I had been in New York. It shone down brightly, warming my skin and glimmering off the glass of the skyscrapers in the near distance. I could finally feel the soft breeze wrap around me and not get deflected from the buildings. I watched the people from the city enter the park and watched as their city attitudes give way to the magical ambiance of the park. I closed my eyes and took it all in, and I could’ve stayed on top of that rock for…

It was a brisk fall evening with the sun just about to set behind a hill. I was 10 years old, playing in my third season of football, and my first ever game under the bright lights surrounding the high school stadium. The time had finally come, the lights had been on and warming up for several minutes, I was going to play a game under the lights on the high school field. The lessons I learned that night weren’t about winning and losing, I had done plenty of that already in my life.…
